EMT Training Opportunities

Become an EMT - Lakeshore Technical College offers EMT training classes at both the EMT-Basic level and the EMT-Intermediate level.

Volunteer Positions

EMR- As an Emergency First Responder you will be part of the responding crew. Your duties include patient care, documentation, stocking supplies, and continued education.

EMT-B- Is the next level above EMR. You are part of the responding crew. Your duties include patient care, documentation, stocking supplies, and continued education.

AEMT- Advance Emergency Medical Technician is the lead on the crew. Your duties include patient care, documentation, stocking supplies, and continued education.

Drivers- Your duties include transportation to and from ambulance calls. Keeping track of mileage, washing the rig, patient transport into rig, and bringing in necessary equipment for calls.

RN’s and Paramedics are able to run as a member of OA. Your level would be AEMT.

All Positions are flexible hour, must live within 2-3 miles from station, dayroom available for members outside 2-3 miles, On site monthly training. Every member must have a valid driver’s license, current EMS license or sign up for class, go through a back ground check and drug screening.
